Biography
Richard Korley, a computer systems engineer, created a streaming media portal that featured the generation of embedded web media content dynamically into web applications and brochure-ware websites at Credit Suisse First Boston in New York. At CSFB, a New York investment bank, he also created a .NET web service used to authenticate user access to content, based on their membership of Microsoft Exchange distribution lists.
At Morehouse College, where he enrolled in 2000, Mr. Korley provided network and software support on windows platforms to over 3,000 users for resolution of network related problems.
Before joining the CSFB web engineering team, Richard worked for Glaxo Smithkline Pharmaceuticals in Pennsylvania where he used the CORBA architecture with Java to implement an Object Management Group specification for viewing genomic maps.
In 2002, Richard founded Club Ghana to link the 2.5 million Ghanaian diasporan community. Mr. Korley is currently completing his BS degree in computer science at Morehouse College, Atlanta, Georgia.
