Samuel Eshun has aB.Sc. Physicsdegree from the University of Science and Technology in Ghana. Samueltaught physics and computer studies for 4 years at Achimota School. Whiles at Achimota, Samuel took acourse inLocal and Wide Area Network administration, sponsored by Internet Society at McGill University,Canada. He has also completed a training course inProject Managementfrom Merjja Technologies inCanada. Samuel has practical knowledge in website development and hosting. From 1998 to date, Samuelhas been the country manager for World Links Ghana (www.world-links.org), a World Bank initiated ICT inschools project. Samuel has successfully implemented the project in thirty-one high schools across fiveregions in Ghana. Samuel Eshun is the founder of an online city guide (www.GhanaCityGuide.com) for
Ghana and also started Vitalinfonet Computer Services(www.Vitalinfonet.com) for developing, hosting andsupporting websites and providing other Internetapplications and solutions that are client tailored thatensures that each website and solution becomes a usefuland integral part of his clients business operations andpromotional efforts.
Samuel has successfully executed short-term contracts asan ICT Training Consultant, facilitating training fororganizations, including; America Peace Corp, One World,Busy Internet, Private Enterprise Foundation/USAID andthe University of Education, Winneba, mainly in theeffective utilization of ICTs as an integral part of dailybusiness activities to enhance and promote business.
He has presented and contributed papers at conferencesincluding the Africa Development Forum, e-Schools ofNEPAD, and SchoolNet Africa.
